As a Linux and Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of a company that offers IT solutions, consultancy, hosting services, application development for all platforms, including Windows, Android, and IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, delivered from the most powerful cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure & AWS.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Perform system administration activities, such as deployments, configuration, system monitoring, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting
• Propose and implement physical infrastructure
• Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents
  • Assist with Helpdesk functions as needed, such as responding to tickets, managing: o Linux servers and Infrastructure and/or
  • Virtualization solutions and/or
  • Cloud solutions
  • Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot our internal and client technology assets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in technology or related field

You have experience, and deep knowledge of the following technologies:

Linux:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing Linux systems
• Linux systems administration (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, backup, and recovery);
• Linux applications (ex: nginx / apache / Docker / DNS / Postfix);

Infrastructure

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure/hardware implementation and administration (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting)
• Experience with one of the following medium and enterprise business solutions: HPE / DELL / LENOVO
• Experience with storage equipment
• Experience in implementing and managing virtual machines using VMWare

Would be a plus:

• Experience in an entrepreneurial work environment
• Hands-on experience with CISCO UCS and Dell Storage Systems
